Prof. Gail S. Goodman, the Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at the University of California Davis. She is widely acclaimed for her pioneering work in studying child witnesses and eyewitness memories within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer, has won several awards and grants. She has worked with many governments and organizations around the globe on studies and policy issues pertaining to child victims of the legal system. She is also a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of several professional associations, which include that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
